couple of game gear questions

hey guys hoping you will be able to help me:
I have been offered a broken gg and some games, the guy is moving abroad and it would have been destined for the bin, he has asked that when I have some money (when I get back from holiday, I make a donation to a charity, which of course I will do)
The GG is broken, he has told me it doesnt give a clean boot up, I have messaged gear for games (ebay seller and very well regarded repairer) to see if it is fixable by him (I am almost completely blind in one eye, soldering for me would not be safe lol)
my questions are:
1. I own a master everdrive- is it possible to use this with the gg via a master gear converter?
2. Back in the day I owned a gg, but only a handful of games, my main system was an md so I know very little about the gg, what are the best games to play?

You probably have to change all condensator to make your Game gear work, it's a famous problem, there is different tutorial on internet.
1. Yes.
2. Defenders of Oasis, GG Shinobi 1 & 2, Sonic Triple Trouble, Fantasy Zone Gear, Tempo Jr, Ax Battler, Megaman, Fatal Fury Special, Tails Adventure, Puzzle Bobble, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Surf Ninjas (you need to see the movie too), GG Aleste 1 & 2, Arena Maze of Death.

The best games I own are:
Dragon Crystal
The Sonic The Hedgehog games, Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Triple Trouble.
Star Wars
G-Loc Air Battle
Super Monaco GP
I take those games wherever I take my Game Gear.
