I got pinged by BFC regarding the mappers/dumps of the 3 in 1 games.
All the 3-in-1 games contains a 512 KB (half megabyte) ROM and typically one 256 KB game and two 128 KB games.

Master Games 1: Super Monaco GP, Columns and World Soccer
Game Box Série Corridas: Super Cross, Super Monaco GP and World Grand Prix
Aladdin II Special - Racing 3 IN 1 (알라딘 II 스페셜 - 레이싱3 IN 1) :Super Monaco GP, World Grand Prix, Enduro Racer. (effectively the same as above)
Game Box Série Esportes: Great Volley, Super Futebol II and Wimbledon.
Game Box Série Lutas: Shinobi, The Ninja and Kung Fu Kid.

BFC said:
A word about Sport Games: The raw read from the chip is different from just stitching the individual ROM images of the three games included together. This means that Bock will need to do correct redumps of the Game Box series for Master System as well. He just ripped the individual ROMs which is not really accurate. Neither regarding ROM chip content nor emulation of this reset-triggered switching mechanism.

Here's what I can answer from now: I have dumped all those games as "individual" ROM by triggering the reset mechanism of the cartridge. Because the ROM chip are 512 KB I believe there is no extra data. So I have the confirmed CRC and in some cases ROM variations.

However my technique doesn't tell what is the ordering of those three games within the physical ROM. (This is partly the reason why they haven't been released yet)

Here's an e-mail I exchanged with aRPI (minor modification applied for readability)

Hi,
there are some answers.

> Do you know the right ROM order? As far as I understand it,
> the way to know would be to dump the ROM directly.

Yes, I am sure of rom order because I dumped this chip directly (unsoldered
rom chip and read it in eprom reader). Order in rom:
1. Wimbledon (256KB CRC32 B14B6195)
2. Great Volleyball (128KB CRC32 8D43EA95)
3. Super Futebol II (128 KB CRC32 551E6F51)

> Does the logic garantee a same order?
> Are you able to explain the board game switching logic?

Order looks same as in Master Games1 (256,128,128)

I never tried to analize this logic, I just assumed that all games in cart
are using standard 315-5365 mapper and additional logic, which contains
counter (74HC163), is used to switch games just by setting lines A18 and A17
high.
I think it works this way:
A start everything is reset: A18 is low, A17 from 5365.
At first reset: A18 is high, A17 from 5365 (always low, because game is
128KB only).
At second reset: A18 and A17 are high.
At third reset everything is reset as at start etc.

When I'll have some time, I'll check it, but I think I'm right.

> Does mapping page >0x10 in Columns/World Soccer mode or
> page >0x20 gets you pages from the same game or other games?

As I wrote above, I think that in all cases only pages of one game are
visible at all time (hard wired address lines).

> Does bits 0-1 of register mapped at 0xFFFC can switch
> games?
> This thing is documented in the official SMS doc (dev4.gif)

When I analise all logic connection on this cart, I'll be able give you some answers on these qusetions, but I think that, in this case, only line, used to switch games, is reset line. Probably line A18 is not connected to 5365, because when I was trying to dump this cart normal way I was always receiving only image of first game.

It will be not easy, but I am planning to dump these bioses. It is only
matter of time.

They are not using standard Sega chips - all console is in just 2 chips -
made by Tec Toy. Maybe they designed one chip for use in new Master System
and Mega Drive, and this menu are using Mega Drive sound?

[...]

aRPi

I am not sure how to move forward from there. But I suppose I could release the combined dump from aRPI that include the hacked Super Futebol II ROM? (and include separate files along with the release, pragmatically considering that use would be used).

The Game Lutas, etc series is pretty goofy. But, this is cool to see. I never looked, but has it actually been dumped as one full ROM and you can hit reset to toggle through the games?

On a sidenote: Does a korean "Aladdin" pendant to the Game Box Esportes Radicais exist? The one with a selection menu?

Not as far as I know Esportes Radicais is basically a trimmed down California Games and is a single game really.

(Btw it would probably be possible to unlock the missing games using ROM/RAM hacks)
