NOW IS THE TIME!

I am willing to sell a LIMITED EDITION WHITE SEGA GAME GEAR, boxed in awesome condition.

This thing looks as it did on the first day i guess.

The only flaw with this example is, that the frequency regulator doesnt move when you scroll the wheel. The frequency DOES change, but it looks as if it doesnt. I am quite sure, one can easily adjust it if it needs to be done. I didnt have the feeling i had to do it as i didnt want to touch it in another way than it is meant to be, eg opening the case of the game gear without the proper working materials and knowledge (which i am sure, can be found here on smspower).

I will add pictures later this evening today, so that you have a good impression of its beauty! Also, i will test the system for its function again.

Whoever is interested in it may drop me a line or pm me. If you provide me with your email adress, i can send a lot more pictures.

Offers are welcome of course, but i think you should see the pics first.

The holding strap is present, but it lay beneath the Game Gear inside the carry case when i took the pics.

All paperwork is present as well. It sits well protected under the top cushion.

I have just tested the Game Gear for its functionality. It plays fine, screen is perfect and sound is loud and clear. I think i will put a short video of it on Youtube later as well.

Looks in excellent condition :)

You may want to show a picture of the paperwork.
If you have the leaflet that goes outside the box its probably worth a good amount. I had four GG-White at some point and only had that paper (i kept it for myself and sold the others for a good sum).

Ok, i will take it out of its storage box again later. :)

I am not sure which leaflet it is that has to be on the outside. But there are multiple small pieces of paperwork. I will take pictures of all of them.

I had to buy four to get a complete set in great condition. Many of them just yellowed or were dirty, etc.

I remember couple of years ago, a japanese seller had like 50 of them with the original shrinkwrap and that leaflet you are talking about bock.
Sad I didn't have the money at this time :p

If this leaflet is so special and rare, i am afraid it wont be part of my paperwork... but who knows.

How is it Bock, do you have a picture of this said leaflet?

It's missing two documents:
- a paper sheet describing the carrying case and contents
- the outer case flyer that was originally held outside the carrying case (within a plastic bag)

But you shouldn't worry about that and put it for auctions. You've got a great looking one here :) and sorry for hi-jacking your sale thread.

Sascha are you going to eBay this? I'd be interested in bidding on it if you do.
Oh and please let me know when your Smurfs 2 arrives safely.
Thanks!

The outer case cardboard is like rocking horse shite. I had over 10 White GG's during my collecting days and I think I only ever had 1 with the outer sheet. For the most part I got around £200 - £230 for a Minty Cased set. I got over £450 for the one with the outer sheet...

I was thinking about listing it on ebay. If i do so, i will let you know it in this thread. But as I already have someone interested in buying it, i may save the ebay fees at least by not selling it there.

Do you know for sure how long ago that is? I remember buying some games from you in 2008 or 2009 i guess. It was then when you sold hundreds of game gear games. Got some fine and nearly mint games at very reasonable prices compared to today. But i dont remember to have seen a White Game Gear from you at that time, so i assume this must have been even earlier.

If you sold minty boxed ones for around 200-230 gbp at that time, then the price has risen significantly since then - at least from what i have seen over the last two years. I would expect an absolutely mint and complete example to sell for at least 650 gbp - if not more!

Thats absolutely no problem, sir! :)

Of course i will. I am awaiting its arrival eagerly to see if it is in better condition than the copy i already own.

For everybody interested: I made a new video some time ago but forgot to post the link here... i think you should watch it to get a good impression of the Game Gear and stuff... the purpose of the first video simply was to show the system is working fine.

Hi,

Here's the paper sheet that Bock spoke about:

Never seen the flyer though.

Thanks for sharing this picture, mngb123! :)

What i would like to know is, if batteries and plastic cases (as shown on the paper sheet) were part of the set? Or was it just for illustration reasons? Were there games inside the cases? If yes, which?

Would be great if someone could answer one, some or all of these questions!

The batteries and cases and adapter were for illustration only. If you look at the info sheet/flyer, you will see the some japanese characters in brackets next to the name of these items. It means "optional". The set that I bought came from a retail store. It came with were (1) GG (2) strap (3) TV tuner and (4) info sheet (5) GG instruction manual.

BTW, the GG instruction manual that came with the set is just above the GG in this picture.

Wow I lost on the bidding for this one but this is the nicest set I've ever seen. It had it all even the outer insert and plastic wrap.

Cool auction! But I can't help but notice that the original front glass panel has been replaced with the later plastic ones.. Still a great set though...
