Yup. Used to have one. It could only be ordered by mail from Sega of America here in the US, and it came in that exact box. It was cool. It was great for cheating in Light Phaser games when used in conjunction with the pause button.

i have several of that very item. bought them Ebay about 2 years ago REALLY cheap. Mine are differnt packages though? see pic below, if you can't get your hands on one and would like something close, (http://www.smspower.org/smscartpad/rfu.htm) I've made one and it worked perfectly, I may even say better than original.

First of all I hate you for having all of those awesome peripherals.

Secondly with the RFU, you just turn button 1 to rapid and hold the trigger down. Keep pressing the PAUSE button and re-aim the gun when the screen is still. Unpause and you'll hit your target right away. If you REALLY want to cheat, get up close to the screen (about an inch away with the Light Phaser). You can't miss... or lose. But that makes Light Phaser games far too easy, though Missile Defense still might give you a whoopin'.

The funny thing is, the rfu sold by TecToy didn't have the switches for button 1 and 2.
