So I just did cap replacements for my Game Gear's main board and sound board. It now sounds great and the screen was great for about an hour.

After that one hour of use the screen contrast gradually washed out and lost all contrast until it turned white, the brightness control doesn't solve the problem.

I'm puzzled. After searching these forums I tried what someone suggested might help a similar screen issue which was clean and re-solder the brightness pot. Unfortunately it hasn't solved the problem.

After a break from play the contrast comes back, but then soon goes washed out again after five minutes or so as it gets warm.

Is there anyone who can help me solve this?
