I have a question regarding 'Great Golf' for the SMS.

In Meka the Rev 1 SMS version of the ROM image is listed:
98e4ae4a - Great Golf/NAME_JP=Masters Golf/COUNTRY=JP,US,EU/PRODUCT_NO=G-1332,5057[...]

However, there is also a Rev 0 version of the ROM floating around (it's in MESS/GoodTool, under SMS):
C6611C84 - great golf (ue) (v1.0) [!].bin

Additionally, the Rev 0 image (C6611C84) is also in MAME as a Mega-Tech game:

Does anybody know what the story re the Rev 0 ROM is?

Is it a valid MT release (I'm assuming it is)? Did the Rev 0 release also find its way into any retail SMS carts?

I've never dumped a Mega-Tech cartridge so I can't confirm the dump but i assume since they are relatively common cartridges that the MAME dumping team did their job correctly.

Haven't found rev 0 in a SMS cartridge so I assume its only used in the Mega-Tech version. I have now added it to meka.nam by the way.

I had dumped Great Golf. All the Mega Tech games are identical to the console versions and there hasn't been any software developed exclusively for the system. So I think it's highly likely a Rev. 0 Great Golf cartridge exists out there somewhere.

Maybe it's just very uncommon?

For the records so far I have dumped at least:

4 EU copy
2 US copy
3 JP copy (Masters Golf, one retail, two from GB9 package)
1 AU copy from 4-in-1 cart

All matching rev1.

Anybody who has a Master Everdrive + Gender Adapter + Great Golf let me know and we can check the revision from your version.
